The People United announce today that Tressa Epps has come on-board as a producer for the Independent Film. Epps joins the team alongside Crosby Tatum as The People, United is in it’s final stages of completion.
“I’ve worked with Tressa for almost a full decade now,” says Tatum. “Her expertise in the filmmaking space is second to none. Her passion and drive for creating and engaging the next generation of filmmakers and creators is second to none. We are thrilled to have her a part of our team.”
ABOUT TRESSA EPPS
Tressa has worked on a number of award-winning independent film projects, ranging from independent short films to feature films in a variety of roles as an executive producer/producer/production designer. Her passions help others fully engage with the artistic form of the cinema. She visually brings every script to life!
The films she has worked on have been theatrically released and streamed on various networks such as BET, BET HER, Bounce, Hulu, Netflix, Starz, Tv One, and the Urban Movie Channel (UMC). She plans to develop many strategic collaborations and alliances based on shared values, visions and goals, to develop more content for movies and television series programming.
Tressa also enjoys voice acting while she is honored to serve on the prestigious Black Perspectives Committee at the Chicago International Film Festival.
